This facility is a destination point for Martin Marietta to receive and unload aggregate materials from their Granite Canyon location. 360 Rail Services provided the design and construction of this facility, including a single track siding, track loop, and a bad order track with unit train capacity. We overcame numerous challenges in this project, including a major gas line across the property.

Working on the project

Our engineers successfully designed the facility in a way that did not disturb the gas line. Additionally, due to the facility's proximity to a residential area, provisions were made for sound limitation, including a 20-foot high berm. Finally, our team overcame grading challenges posed by the facility's conflicting slope and the surrounding terrain.
